Former President Donald Trump plans to only say one thing during in court room: “I’ll just say not guilty”. Trump is facing criminal charges as a result of alleged claims that he took illegal documents from White House.

During a recent interview with radio host Howie Carr, Trump went on to let these words come out while being asked about his 37 felony charges by Carr. Allegations against the former president claim that he made false statements and concealed records. Also charged was Walt Nauta, former aide to Trump.

Prosecutors allege Trump violated the law by having national security materials at his properties in Palm Beach, Florida, and Bedminster, N.J. Claims also include that the former president showed documents to people who did not hold security clearance; and also obstructing investigations by directing Nauta to move boxes in order to conceal them from the FBI; they also go on to allege that he falsely stated he was cooperating with the FBI investigation while allegedly withholding some of the materials called for in a subpoena.

Both Trump and Nauta appeared in court in Miami to enter their pleas this week. Trump has already stated to Carr that he is innocent, and now Trump wants America and the world to believe him when he says that he “didn’t do anything wrong.”

“I did nothing wrong,” Trump reiterated in the interview, adding that federal authorities have “no case whatsoever.” He also pointed to a similar cases involving 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, which did not lead to any charges.
