Sound of Freedom Starring Jim Caviezel Debuts as #1 movie in America on July 4

“With an A+ CinemaScore rating, we’re the top-rated movie in America, and we’re going to see word-of-mouth spread even further going into the weekend,” Angel Studio CEO Neal Harmon said.

The ground-breaking film, which centers on saving kids from the global sex-trafficking trade, debuted on July 4 as the top film in America.

In the film, Jim Caviezel plays Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security agent who left his position ten years ago to save innocent children trapped in the dreadful underworld where up to two million children worldwide are bought and sold for sex to depraved adults.

“Thanks to fans around the country, Sound of Freedom earned the top spot as America’s number one movie on Independence Day,” said Neal Harmon, CEO of Angel Studios.  “We’ve received numerous messages telling us theaters are either packed or sold out. This movie has now taken on a life of its own to become something more than that, a grassroots movement.”

Jim Caviezel has suggested that Sound of Freedom will likely be the “Uncle Tom’s Cabin of 21st century slavery.”

Eduardo Verástegui, Sound of Freedom’s producer and one of its stars, recently said that the movie is a “weapon of mass instruction and inspiration” that will put more pressure on governments to act against the depraved exploitation of vulnerable children while enlisting ordinary citizens around the world to do what they can to end child-sex slavery.

Mel Gibson, the creative genius behind The Passion of the Christ, and Elon Musk have both urged people to go see Sound of Freedom.
