New Watchdog Report Reveals COVID-19 Vaccines are ‘Neither Safe, Nor Effective’

The National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) has revealed that COVID-19 vaccines were authorized in Canada during 2020 and 2021 without being subjected to the country’s safety tests as required under established drug regulations. The organization published a report detailing the flawed mechanism through which the vaccines were granted approval in Canada. The report states that the COVID-19 vaccines were never approved under the traditional approval process for drugs in Canada, but instead, Health Canada approved the vaccines through an alternative authorization process—an interim order.

Canada’s Food and Drug Regulations require a drug to be approved in the country after its safety and effectiveness are demonstrated to the minister of health. Instead, Canada’s interim order on September 16, 2021, exempted all COVID-19 vaccines from normal review and approval. Four COVID-19 vaccines were authorized by the health agency under an interim order—Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen, and AstraZeneca.

The report notes that the authorization was granted under a subjective test, which is not an appropriate standard for approving a drug intended for the entire population. The interim order also ensured that the vaccine authorizations couldn’t be revoked even under evidence of their safety and ineffectiveness.

The NCI report was supported by cardiologist Dr. Peter A. McCullough, who recently asked European lawmakers to take COVID-19 vaccines off the market due to concerns about illnesses such as heart inflammation, blood clots, and neurological diseases. He implored the European Medicines Agency to apply pressure and due urgency to remove the COVID-19 vaccines from the market.

The National Center for Immunization (NCI) h as issued a report on the approval of new COVID-19 vaccines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for children as young as 6 months old. The FDA has emphasized the importance of vaccination for public health and protection against serious consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death. However, experts have questioned the push for new vaccines, with Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo criticizing the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, stating that there is no evidence to support its benefits or safety in humans.

Canada’s interim order for COVID-19 vaccines has become permanent, with permanent regulations codifying the “subjective authorization” of the vaccine. This means that Health Canada no longer has to be swayed by urgency but simply by the public health need related to COVID-19. The NCI also alleged a “conflict of interests” while approving the COVID-19 vaccines, with the government being involved. The Epoch Times reached out to Health Canada for comment but did not receive a reply by press time.

The interim order allowed unapproved COVID-19 vaccines to be imported as long as the Canadian Government was the purchaser. This created a tremendous conflict of interest, as the government would have suffered significant political blowback if it was unable to authorize them. The NCI sent a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on September 14, highlighting the issue of COVID-19 vaccine approval. The letter said that Canadians are relying on representations about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, which Health Canada has never determined. The organization pointed out that population immunity has increased and the latest variants are “milder.” The NCI asked the prime minister to withdraw COVID-19 vaccines until the normal rigorous evaluation can be completed and to reinstate the traditional objective test for safety.
