Joe Biden’s Approval Rating Lowest of Any U.S. President in 50 Years

According to the latest FiveThirtyEight poll the current occupant of the Oval Office has the lowest approval rating of any American president since Harry Truman (1945-1953).

Two surveys conducted in the final week of June show “net-negative” results (approval minus disapproval): YouGov (minus 16) and Morning Consult (minus 13). These are merely the most recent polls that demonstrate how dissatisfaction with Biden and his work performance is reflected in his disapproval rating. Other surveys conducted by Harris, Daily Kos, CBS News, Quinnipiac University, and Marquette University reveal comparable or even worse net-negative results.

The reason why is evident to even the most casual observer: Biden’s economic plan, Bidenomics, is failing, along with his mental clarity. He is currently the oldest president in office at the age of 80, and if given a second term in 2024, he would be 82 years old.

Biden is also a liar, and voters continue to be reminded of it. In touting his “Bidenomics” program last week he said, “We created 13.4 million new jobs.” That is false. The job recovery began under President Trump, who was president when more than 16 million jobs were regained following the Covid lockdowns. Biden more accurately oversaw just 2 million real new jobs during his first term.

Biden said, “Pay for low-wage workers has grown at the fastest pace in over two decades.” But he forgot — he does that, often — to adjust for inflation. In reality since he took office in January 2021, weekly wages have actually decreased by more than 3%.

Voters have historically prioritized their wallet over other considerations when casting ballots, and Biden will be held responsible for issues like inflation and gas prices. Inflation was 1.4 percent when Biden took office; it is now four times higher. Back then, gas cost $2.39 per gallon; today, it costs $3.55 per gallon.

Biden’s massive deficit spending has destroyed the value of the dollar and increased interest rates, making it more expensive for buyers of cars and homes to finance their purchases.

Biden’s history of fabrications, misstatements, and half-truths, not to mention his and his family’s protracted and scandalous history of corruption and selling out America to its enemies, has made the people at DiscoverTheNetworks.org quite wealthy. Here is the link for those who can handle it. The list is incredibly long, and the items are mostly excerpts from full-length original sources that probably number in the thousands of pages.

Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, now has the ideal opportunity as a result of everything. Additionally, he acts on his opportunity when he sees it, just like a typical politician. As Vice President Kamala Harris’ approval ratings are even lower than those of Vice President Joe Biden, Newsom received a small boost to his presidential campaign at Fox News last month. He was polished, organized, and knowledgeable when he appeared on Hannity. He also told lies, but they were much more convincing than Biden’s.

In terms of new job openings and tourism, he asserted that California was outperforming its rival states Texas and Florida. He omitted to continue the narrative: Due to the state’s high taxes, expensive energy, and out-of-control homelessness, half a million Californians have moved away in the last three years. And many of them have relocated to Florida and Texas.

But don’t worry. In order to gauge the response in a Republican state, Newsom ran a brief, 30-second television ad in Florida in 2022. Overwhelmingly, the advertisement was successful. He skillfully avoided becoming overtly political while subtly promoting himself and his policies:

I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight. Or join us in California, where we still believe in freedom — freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate and the freedom to love.

According to CNN’s Chris Cillizza, the ad was seen more than 3 million times on Newsom’s Twitter feed and “drove tons of media coverage over the [2022 July Fourth] holiday weekend.”

Not bad considering the ad only cost $100,000.

Add to this Newsom’s campaign schedule, with visits to the southern border and campaigning in Florida, and one is forced to agree with Cillizza: “Newsom isn’t waiting until he wins a second term as governor to start the 2024 race. He’s hoping to get a head start.”

Biden’s falling approval numbers widen Newsom’s open door.
