Hunter Biden Was CC’d on Email to VP Joe Biden About Call with Ukrainian President

According to a document provided by the National Archives in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, a staff member for then-Vice President Joe Biden copied Hunter Biden on an email to Joe about an upcoming call with former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

Hunter Biden was included on a scheduling email from Joe Biden’s assistant, John Flynn, dated May 26, 2016, about a call between Joe Biden and Poroshenko, according to the Washington Times’ FOIA report. Hunter Biden made $83,000 per month as a board member of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

Flynn wrote to Joe and Hunter Biden:

Boss — 8:45 a.m. prep for 9 a.m. phone call with Pres Poroshenko. Then we’re off to Rhode Island for infrastructure event and then Wilmington for UDel commencement. Nate will have your draft remarks delivered later tonight or with your press clips in the morning.

The call took place on May 27, 2016. According to the mainstream media, Joe Biden urged Poroshenko to restructure the prosecutor general’s office in Ukraine.

Burisma was suspected of public corruption and money laundering at the time. Before being fired by Poroshenko due to pressure from Joe Biden, who threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid from Ukraine if the Ukrainian government did not fire Shokin, prosecutor Victor Shokin looked into the case.

During a 2018 appearance at the Council of Foreign Relations, Joe Biden boasted about the dismissal. “I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch. He got fired,” Joe Biden said.

According to House Republican investigators, an FBI informant claims to have two pieces of evidence that demonstrate Joe and Hunter Biden received $5 million each in bribes from Burisma.

According to a source familiar with the FBI’s informant document, Hunter and Joe Biden “coerced” Burisma executive Mykola Zlochevsky into paying them $10 million in bribes in June, according to Breitbart News. Additionally, according to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), the FBI informant file revealed that Hunter Biden owed his father $5 million in total, with a $5 million total cut represented by his lucrative position on Burisma’s board of directors.

Founder of Burisma Mykola Zlochevsky, who is accused of paying Joe Biden, allegedly kept 17 audio recordings of his conversations with the Bidens as an “insurance policy,” according to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

New Testimony Links Jim Biden’s Fundraising Efforts to Qatari Government

Recent revelations in a Kentucky bankruptcy court shed light on the foreign fundraising activities of Jim Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, connecting him to Qatari government officials in pursuit of financial support for U.S. healthcare ventures.

According to sworn testimony by fund manager Michael Lewitt, a former business associate of Jim Biden’s, two companies involved in these fundraising efforts were partially owned by “members of the Qatari government.” One of these companies directly partnered with Jim Biden in a multi-year fundraising campaign, while the other provided financial backing for loans arranged by a hospital chain, for which Jim Biden received payments.

These alleged arrangements represent some of the closest financial connections known between a relative of President Joe Biden and a foreign government.

The fundraising efforts reportedly began shortly after Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president ended, during a period when Qatar was under financial strain due to a regional blockade and was actively seeking to strengthen its relationships with Western nations.

Details from public records and obtained emails suggest that Jim Biden leveraged his family ties and sought ways to circumvent restrictions on international financial transactions during these efforts. The transactions related to these fundraising activities were also central to a recently settled Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) fraud case and are under scrutiny as part of a federal criminal investigation in South Florida.

While the White House, the Qatari Embassy, and representatives for Jim Biden did not respond to requests for comment, Jim Biden reportedly indicated to congressional investigators that his fundraising initiatives faced challenges due to a lack of viable projects. However, Lewitt’s testimony reveals deeper ties between Jim Biden and the Qatari government through the ownership structure of companies involved in the fundraising.

Lewitt is expected to face further questioning about these activities during an upcoming interview with House impeachment inquiry investigators, although no date has been announced for the interview, and Lewitt declined to provide additional comments on his courtroom testimony.

The evolving details surrounding Jim Biden’s fundraising efforts underscore broader concerns about potential political and financial entanglements involving relatives of public officials and foreign governments. As investigations continue, these developments raise questions about transparency, accountability, and ethical considerations in political and business dealings at the highest levels of government.

New Testimony reveals Hunter, and Jim Biden Met Privately with ‘Spy Chief of China’ During Hong Kong Trip after securing $5M payment

Explosive revelations have emerged from a recent congressional deposition given by Jim Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, shedding light on undisclosed meetings between Hunter Biden and a controversial Chinese businessman. The discussions, which took place in September 2017 in Hong Kong, involved Patrick Ho, an executive linked to CEFC China Energy, a Chinese energy conglomerate with reported ties to Chinese military intelligence.

According to Jim Biden’s testimony, he accompanied Hunter Biden to Hong Kong for a lunch meeting with Patrick Ho, who also headed the China Energy Fund Committee, a think tank funded by CEFC China Energy. However, the meeting took an unexpected turn when Ho requested to speak with Hunter alone, leaving Jim Biden unaware of the discussion’s details.

The Biden family’s involvement with CEFC China Energy has raised national security concerns, especially considering the firm’s connections to Chinese military intelligence. The series of events began in 2015 when intermediaries for CEFC China Energy approached Hunter Biden with potential business opportunities while his father, Joe Biden, served as vice president.

Intriguingly, federal prosecutors indicted Patrick Ho just two months after Hunter Biden’s meeting, alleging bribery attempts during the UN General Assembly in 2014 to secure oil rights for CEFC China Energy. Hunter Biden subsequently received $1 million for legal representation, despite minimal involvement in the case.

Jim Biden also disclosed the involvement of Scott Oh, the father of one of Hunter Biden’s daughter’s classmates, who allegedly introduced Hunter Biden to CEFC China Energy and gifted him a diamond ring in 2015. Despite these revelations, Jim Biden claimed ignorance regarding the purpose of Hunter’s meeting with Ho, a statement met with skepticism from Republican lawmakers during the deposition.

The deposition further highlighted Jim Biden’s hiring of a former Secret Service official to investigate Ho before the trip, suggesting a level of precaution inconsistent with Jim’s claim of not prying into Hunter’s activities. Republican lawmakers questioned the discrepancy, prompting Jim Biden to defend his family’s approach to dealing with such matters.

The testimony provided by Jim Biden underscores the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Biden family’s business dealings and potential conflicts of interest. As congressional investigators delve deeper into these revelations, questions about transparency, accountability, and national security implications continue to loom large. The latest disclosures serve as a reminder of the complex web of relationships and interests that intersect at the highest levels of government and international business.
