According to CBS, the former president Trump’s co-defendant in the Florida criminal papers case is finally scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday morning.
Walt Nauta, who worked as Donald Trump’s valet and is accused of playing a crucial part in transferring the president’s boxes of secret paperwork to prevent their discovery by law enforcement or Trump’s own attorneys, was unable to be charged at the time Trump was because he hadn’t yet located a local counsel. Since then, observers and legal experts have pondered if Nauta may ultimately “flip” on Trump.
Now, the delay is over, according to Scott MacFarlane, the CBS Congressional Correspondent. He posted on Twitter:
“Arraignment is set for 9:45am Tuesday in the federal criminal case of Walt Nauta, Trump’s co-defendant In Miami.”
