The media as well as Fauci and others demonized people for taking Ivermectin for COVID-19. The drug had won a Nobel Peace Prize for treatment in humans. The media ridiculed them President Donald Trump and podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan. They suggested it may help people and had personal success with the drug. This lawsuit is being filed against the alleged multifaceted attempts to limit access to a known and cheap drug that may help those infected with COVID-19.
In response to the Food and Drug Administration’s illegal attempts to forbid the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19, a group of physicians represented by Boyden Gray & Associates PLLC filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra in his official capacity as Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug Administration, and Robert M. Califf in his official capacity as Commissioner of Food and Drugs.
Drs. Robert L. Apter, Mary Talley Bowden, and Paul E. Marik, the plaintiffs, contend that the FDA illegally interfered with their ability to practice medicine by ordering the public—including patients and healthcare providers—not to use ivermectin, a medication that has full FDA approval for human use.
