The state legislator who has come out in favor of “action” in response to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s efforts to disparage President Trump is none other than Republican Georgia State Senator Clint Dixon.
Dixon desires that, as soon as the Prosecutorial Oversight Committee is formally established, it “investigate and take action” against DA Willis.
When the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission convenes in October, the state senator indicated he would lodge a complaint against Willis.
He argues that the get-Trump indictments are an attempt by Willis “to become some sort of leftist celebrity.”
Dixon said: “Once the Prosecutorial Oversight Committee is appointed in October, we can have them investigate and take action against Fani Willis and her efforts that weaponize the justice system against political opponents.
“This is our best measure and I will be ready to call for that investigation.”
As we reported last week, Georgia State Sen. Colton Moore (R) took the first step on toward impeaching Willis.
Moore said: “As a Georgia State Sena tor, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis.
“America is under attack.
“I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically target political opponents.
“We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis.
“I’m calling on patriots across America to join me in this fight.”
Moore wrote in a petition:
“I am calling on my colleagues in the Georgia legislature to join me in calling for an emergency session to investigate and review her actions and determine if they warrant impeachment.
“The politically-motivated weaponization of our justice system at the expense of taxpayers will not be tolerated.
“I am demanding that we defund her office until we find out what the hell is going on.
“We cannot stand idly by as corrupt prosecutors choose to target their political opposition.”
Moore also wrote to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp:
“We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, pursuant to Article IV, Section II, Paragraph VII(b), hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis.”

It’s sad and frightening that in a few short years, one spoiled, narcissistic, man child has helped encourage a large portion of the formerly respectable Republican party to throw out any self restraint or attempt at living like adults in society. These morons want to go after a DA for doing her job and investigating potential crimes, then handing the evidence over to a grand jury, as if she’s done something wrong. Be angry at Donald Trump for deciding to ignore the laws and operate any way he feels around them, because he thinks he’s above them, not the people charged with investigating those crimes. There’s no question they’d be cheering her on to burn him at the stake if the exact same actions were taken by anyone other than Trumplethinskin. That kind of response is childish behavior that most adults accept as inappropriate. It’s also contradictory to all that America is built upon. Any actual patriot who has the first care for this country accepts that no one is above the law, not even Donald Trump. The only ones weaponizing anything are these losers going after government officials doing exactly the job they are expected to be doing. Grow up trumptards, you’re burning this American experiment to ash for no good reason except a spoiled brat let you think it’s ok to start behaving like spoiled brats.
