It is being reported that nine Fox News employees have quit the news network to join Tucker Carlson’s new broadcast team on Twitter.
Chadwick Moore, who is authoring Carlson’s biography, said in a thread of tweets that he has heard that nine former Tucker Carlson Tonight employees have quit to join Carlson.
Moore says nine staffers have now quit their jobs at Fox to join Carlson.
“My sources have now told me *NINE* former Tucker Carlson Tonight staffers have left Fox News to join Tucker on his next venture,” he wrote on Saturday.
“There are others who are waiting to leave as soon as a role opens up for them with Tucker. Each of the 9 approached Tucker, not the other way around.”

Moore went on: “Also, quietly, many familiar faces from Tucker Carlson Tonight are refusing to appear on Fox News since Tucker was bizarrely pulled off the air—and not just the ones who got blacklisted for writing a book about him!”
“Tucker Carlson’s team at Fox was extremely close. Most of them were there from the launch of the show until it’s end, and they’ve stood by their boss in the aftermath,”

According to Tubular Labs, a media analytics firm, over 26 million people watched Tucker Carlson’s first Twitter video following his departure from Fox News.
In his second episode, about 13.2 million people joined to watch, and last week’s episode pulled in 18.7 million viewers, according to NBC.
The report notes that there is a significant difference between views logged by Twitter and the number developed by the media analytics firm. Twitter’s numbers are certainly inflated since anyone who comes across a tweet counts a view, even if they don’t actually watch the episode.
