On Monday, the Supreme Court dismissed arguments challenging the federal government’s now-defunct COVID-19 vaccination requirement for military personnel and executive branch workers.
President Joe Biden canceled the vaccination requirement in May, after the Pentagon did so in January.
According to CNN, the justices dismissed three cases on Monday, two of which mandate challengers lost and one of which they won, and the top court ordered the lower courts to drop the cases.
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the court’s newest member, disagreed with her colleagues’ decision to overturn lower court verdicts in two of the instances.
